From Barcelona Airport (El Prat)

Two main options: Bus+Train combo or Direct Bus

Option 2: Direct Bus (Sagalés / Moventis)

Direct buses exist but run less frequently. Check before relying on this option.

Important: Direct bus schedules vary by season and are less frequent than trains. Always verify times before your trip.

Where to Find the Bus

  • Terminal 1: Ground floor, outside arrivals
  • Terminal 2: Outside arrivals area
  • Look for Sagalés or Moventis buses

💡 Pro Tips

  • Late night arrival? Last trains are around 22:00-23:00. If you arrive later, you may need a taxi or pre-booked transfer.
  • Heavy luggage? The train option involves more walking. Consider a direct bus or transfer service.
  • T-Casual card: If staying 3+ days, buy a T-Casual (10 trips) for zone 1-5 or 1-6. Saves money on multiple journeys.
  • Google Maps works: Use it for real-time train schedules - it's quite accurate for Barcelona transport.

Local Buses

Getting between towns along the coast

Local buses connect towns along the coast, but trains are usually easier for tourists. Buses are useful for reaching places not on the train line.

Tip: For most tourist destinations, the train is easier. Use buses for specific locations or if you're exploring off the beaten path.
